Spring is right around the corner, and that means it is time to Make West Virginia Shine! The statewide cleanup will occur April 1-15, 2018. All needed materials (bags, gloves, hauling, and landfill fees) will be provided. Last year, over 5,300 participants removed over 169,000lbs. of litter and debris and over 2900 tires from West Virginia's public lands. Cleanup sites last year included state parks, playgrounds, school grounds, lakes, rivers, and streams. If you or your group would like to volunteer this year, please complete and return the enclosed application. Please note the following projects DO NOT qualify: community dump da)rs. drop off sites. household garbage collections. or cleanups on private property.
