Turner Classic Movies has been playing such amazing movies this past month due to the Oscars being right around the corner. I loathe awards shows, so I will not be watching the Oscars, but I have been hooked on TCM for weeks now.

Some of my favorites classic films (musicals as well) include:

    Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
    Auntie Mame
    Annie
    Cool Hand Luke
    Rebel Without a Cause
    East of Eden
    Big
    Oliver! (1968 version)
    For Whom the Bells Tolls
    Touch of Evil
The Great Dictator (any Chaplin film actually)
    Captain Courageous

Depending on the way in which you view TCM, if you have the ability to do so, (I use PlayStation Vue) you can watch some of the movies if they have already been played... but not all of them. Their app is pretty decent too. I wish they allowed you to watch a larger selection of the movies that they have on their schedule, but at least you don't have to be sure you catch them at the exact time they play.

So, what are some of your favorite classics?
