I'm a few chapters into Animal, Vegetable, Miracle (http://www.animalvegetablemiracle.com/) by Barbara Kingsolver, and oh. my. holy. I'm a.) completely enjoying her writing style which I've always loved, and b.) learning so, so much. (Susie, it touches on the Monsanto stuff we were talking about on Sunday at the Biz Market!). Her family decided to make a move to her new husband's family farm in southwestern Virginia, where they endeavored to spend a year eating only things that grew or were raised locally. Highly recommend, and I'm not even finished :P

But I am disapointed that there are no pictures of John chasing his goats down Mission Road on Sunday...

Sounds like an awesome book! Can I borrow when you're done? :)

BTW...john, Dad & I were there Sunday but we got there a little late and you were gone. Was it goats that you had set up there?

I borrowed it from the library like a good frugal mama, June :) I'll check in town today and see if CT library has it in the system.

I also have The Prodigal Summer by Kingsolver, haven't read it yet, though.
