FINALLY had King's Pizza - THE BEST PIZZA by far in this area. Compare any of the local ones to King's - FRESH made crust hand tossed, perfection - and the toppings are fresh, tasty...unlike any others here! MMMMMMMMMMMm

Maybe I'm just easy to please, but I'd have a hard time specifying a pizza I didn't like. There are different styles, and I'm not a fan of all toppings, but I can appreciate them all. Cheese and bread; how can you screw that up?

King's is kind of out of the way over there by the DMV.

Torlone's pizza has been very hit or miss lately. Can't really put my finger on which cook makes the difference. King's is very good.

We LOVE Brothers!!! I have heard that Ledo's is awesome as well but can't get away from Brothers to try it. Torlone's.... you have to go when Trey is cooking :thumbsup:

I have been wanting to for some reason I have not. Love me some pizza. I like a lot of sauce however. Hope they make it saucy.

All you have to do is ask for the extra sauce on the pizza. We like ours that way too and if you let them know, they will do it.

The ones I have't liked from Torlone's are saucy and burntish. I like the light, fluffy supremes.

Trey and Leanne both make banging pizzas at Torlones.

Kings is good too, but it's on par with Brothers 1 & 2. Tony's Pizza Den in Shepherdstown is really good as is Tommys. The only problem is that they are in Shepherdstown and wreak of patchouli....

You are correct, Kensey! The owner was once married to my mom's cousin. My dad is a contractor and did a lot of work for him when he was remodeling. We used to spend quite a bit of time eating in there. I love the pizza steak subs!
