One of our local Health Departments has begun posting restaurant inspection results on-line. The Berkeley C.H.D."s website contains the major violations of the latest evaluations performed by its Sanitarians. The link is:
http://www.bchealthdept.org/recent_food_inspections.html

It makes for an enlightening read and the site also provides the rationale for the evaluations so a layperson can put the results in perspective. Of course, the question begs: If Berkeley County can do this, why can't our own County??? Perhaps it's an inquiry worthy of passing along to our "powers that be"

In fact, I think [u]Shannondale and Beyond</u> would be more than pleased to "publish" OUR County's inspection evaluations in this forum. They are, after all, public records.

What is the deal with using @ instead of 'at'? Are these guys trying that hard to save typing ONE extra letter?

I think we drove by the China Star the week they were closed and I was wondering why there were so few cars out front! Usually it's packed. Ryan's is one of our favorites so I'm glad they were able to reopen the next day.

Yes, I'd like to see this info published somewhere for Jefferson County.
