I'm learning that Birders are a dedicated group, committed to...Well, maybe they ought to just be committed:D. Between Wormdoc and myself we'll try to fill in a lot of blanks. Right now I'm going to take a napper. Here's the link to this morning's rather wet field trip.

Great pictures. I did not brave the bad weather for the field trip. I am seeking birds that come out mid-day when it is sunny! I hope we have better weather next weekend.

I couldn't make this birding trip because of flower selling for the JeffCo Animal Welfare Society, and won't be able to make next week's either, durn it all. But major kudos to Willis for braving a very very wet day!!!!!! I measured about 1.5 inches on my rain gauge for last night's and this am's rain.

a field trip EARLY Saturday morn at Altona marsh. We(well, really the experts who pointed them out) spotted 70+ species of birds in our 2 field trips, some relatively rare sightings. Each visit has been to different habitats. Two more lectures and trips in the offing.
