Ducky & Polo, Petco Cat(s) of the week adopted

The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County (AWSJC)and Petco work together to show some of the cats available for adoption.
Here is my weekly Petco Cat of the Week with pictures and my best explanation of their personalities.

The cost of adoption for cats is $80 once you have been approved. All cats are neutered and have their shots.

First feature cat is Ducky, a 1 1/2 yr old Male black cat. He is friendly and playful. Hard to get his picture, he really wanted to jump OUT. First 2 pics

Second is Polo, a 10 month old Male black cat. The sign says he is shy, but I had my dog there and he did not seem to be at all concerned about it. Very nice guy. Second 2 pics.

Just an update. These two black cats are still there.

I had Ducky nose to nose with Misha (my dog). Everything was fine then I went to put him back in his cage and he hissed. Kind of funny. Delayed reaction I guess.

Naw, I just think he didn't want to go back into his cage. He's a sweetie, as is Polo.

I love black cats! I eventually did get my kitten, she is a complete mutt cat, she is tortoise, striped, tabby and white but she sure is cute.

I hope someone can give these cats a good home.

We've adopted 3 from AWS. One came from the Petco adoption center. We walked in for some cat toys and came out with "Maggie"! I really like the fact that Petco doesn't 'sell' cats, but works in a partnership to help the local shelter with adoptions.

Polo was gone today and Ducky has a HOLD sign on his cage, so it looks like they are adopted. YAY!!!!!!!!!!
