Down G4 in the Walter's Way vicinity...big orange and white tabby, male, named Max. He was a feral cat a neighbor tamed, and has now gone missing. I've seen him catting around, so I know he's still in the vicinity...if anyone else living down this way should spot him and can catch him, please PM me so I can inform his owner. TIA :)

I believe he was in my yard last night - largish shorthair orange - but light colored - I wasn't real close to him. If he is back tonight I'll let you know.

Does your friend have any pix you could post... there's a lot of cats down this way.

Could this be Mr Max? Don't believe we've seen this dude (or dude-ette), around here before. He/She has been laying on the top rail of our fence, behind our house, for about an hour. I went back to take pix.. slowly.. and 'it' jumped down.. and walked into the woods. I kept talking to 'it' and kept calling it "Max". It plopped down about 10' from me and I was able to snap off some pix.
It's got white front paws & neck, white on the nose, white rings towards the end of the tail.. and the last maybe 2" of tail is all white. Seems friendly, enough. Doesn't appear hurt or starved.
We're maybe a mile from Walters Way.. on Cedar Creek (formerly Beach Dr).

That very well could be Max. Does this cat have a collar? My neighbor said Max didn't have one when he disappeared.
I think Max was hanging around here last week during the storms....we called the neighbor, but by the time he got the message and came over, cat was gone.

No he doesn't have a coller. A little while ago, I got within 4' of him. I didn't have the camera this time or I'd have gotten a GOOD picture or two. We have a split rail fence and he was on the top rail, again. As I got close, I was calling his name and he started rubbing all over the fence as if he liked the attention. One of our young cats followed me back there and wanted to check him out.... got within a couple feet and he jumped off the fence again. Last I saw, he was hanging out in the woods behind our place.
He looks just like my Onslow! :)

Haven't seen this guy for a few days.. hopefully he found his way home. Seemed very friendly.

I live a couple of houses past Foothill Lane.
Does this guy have white paws?? Once in a while a big orange cat with white paws comes around and eats with the rest of the critters I feed. Hadn't seen him in a while and he showed up a couple of days ago. He's skittish and won't come to me. I think I've seen him in the bushes by Walters Way--that house on the corner as you make a left from Shenandoah onto Walters Way. Oh, and he doesn't seem to have a collar.
I have a feral (Julius) that is orange but is smaller and has a shorter tail than this big tabby. Also, Julius is neutered---don't believe this guy is!

Could be. The neighbor (who I only met the two times he came by looking for the cat) hasn't returned my calls about the sightings. :confused-smiley-013
So Ima ASSume (yah, I know) the cat has returned and close the thread. Will let you know if I hear otherwise.
