Katie, Petco adoptable cat of the week

The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County (AWSJC)and Petco work together to show some of the cats available for adoption.
Here is my weekly Petco Cat of the Week with pictures and my best explanation of their personalities.

The cost of adoption for cats is $80 once you have been approved. All cats are neutered and have their shots.

This week we have Katie. She is a gray/orange calico. Sweet as ever. Loves to have her belly rubbed. She is 2 1/2 yrs old and has been at the shelter since February.

I saw Katie there this week. She is soooo pretty.

and Katie is still there. She is so gentle and sweet. They added these little beds for the cats and when I went to get her, she was sucking on the edge of the bed. Too cute.

I think she's nursing on the bed, actually. Perhaps in her pre-rescue life she was separated too early from mama.

Someone please adopt her! She is soooo sweet.

a good forever home. I found out the other day, that while she likes to have her belly rubbed......she DOES have her limits. She nibbled my hand when she was done with it!!!! I got the message.

is still there. I have to admit, she is my current favorite!! Very sweet.

I guess, no one is adopting right now, but if you are looking for a really sweet, friendly cat, this is the one! She seems to be OK with other cats.
