Resident Michelle Brewer is frustrated the money she pays in dues to the home owner's association do not seem to be paying off. "We've paid our dues, where did the money go?," Brewer said.

Neighbors who spoke with the home owner's association say the company is claiming they have run out of money.Most budgets were busted by this winter's snow removal costs. If I lived in that community, I'd want to know why the association hasn't used money from the reserve accounts? When I lived in a community with an HOA, I served on the Board. We were almost anal about making sure that money was budgeted every year to increase the reserves.
