This stuff is very invasive but........ if you need something to take up that bare spot, this is your plant. It doesn't care a much about a lot, does well in sun or shade and until this latest drought, did very well. Some of mine is pretty sorry looking but the roots are very healthy. I'm moving a bunch of it, anyone interested?

I can attest to it's persistence. But if you are careful, you can contain it. I've not seen it spread except by roots. It's a long-lasting bloomer and butterflies and hummers love it. It will choke out other plants. But I'd recommend it. I've been able to control it by pulling it up by the roots.

I did a quick google search on it.
Looks like great stuff... however I am only the planter... not the plant planner in this household :-)
