The State does not have the equipment to repair most of Shannondale roads. They run a 12 foot road grader over 10 foot roads. They aren’t able to crown the roads or clean and redefine the ditches on either side. Although the State is suppose to maintain Shannondale roads, they don’t have the proper equipment. GSC Excavating has a dozer blade attachment that is uniquely suited to crown roads. Getting to your home safely and without having to dodge pot holes is pretty important. Repairing roads and redirecting water is my specialty. Rain water washing over roads every time it rains can rapidly deteriorate a good road. Redefining ditches and crowning the road can be a long term fix.
