Library volunteers

Normally the library is open when the marketplace is open on Sundays from 10-2, but I will be unable to be at the marketplace over the next few Sundays, as will Chocolates by Jo. So we will need someone to volunteer if the library is to be open on these upcoming Sundays. If interested you can post here or else contact the Library Lady.

Without those two pretty faces, you can bet the answerman won't have a reason to show up. Everyone knows all, anyway- Answerman hasn't been asked a question in months. Work will be continuing on the library and MCC, I hope. But someone needs the step up to man the library at its regular Sunday hours. Some pinch hitting vendors might be a nice touch, too :)

Kids can sign up for the Summer Reading Club and get a gameboard AND be eligible for prizes! We have ten sign-ups so far, but we're going for at least 50! So, come stop by tomorrow.

Not sure if Willis will be there, but I can open the door for you. I'm meeting Rebecca McKinley at 10:30 to get some flannelboards from her, so I can just put the tape on the door to keep it open. We have to make a trip to BWI in the morning, so I can't stay. I'll email Willis to see if he'll be there. The AC helps and I'll leave my box fan for you, too.

If any kids show up, they can still sign up for the Summer Reading Club. There are extra gameboards in the top drawer. Just have them sign on the yellow pad.

What are the normal library hours and days?

The library is staffed on Sundays from 10:00 until 2:00, but feel free to stop in between 6:00 and 7:00 any Monday through Friday during Karate or Zumba classes.

We have free broadband internet access with two pretty old PCs. If you have a laptop you can bring it in and connect to the open wireless router.

Actually, on Sunday the hours are 11-2, if we can get volunteers. Monday through Thursday, when there are other activities, you are welcome to stop by. Thanks for asking.
