You drive a street bike does not give you the right to drive like a maniac. Beware!! Since the weather has been nice there are more and more people riding thier motorcycles. The big Harley looking ones aren't bad its just those street bikes that drive me nuts. Yesterday I was on the 7 coming home and some little Sh!@3head on a motorcycle almost ran into the back of my car and he had the nerve to act all crazy with me. Just be careful everyone

It's a$$holes like that which negate all of the effort that respectful motorcycler riders have worked so hard into changing the image from outlaw to what it is today. Kharma is a strange thing and someday he'll get whats coming to him............

I am just glad karma didn't attack him in the form of the back of my Xterra. I would have been forced to beat him after the wreck. I just paid for that thing.

I agree these turds on the sports bikes that think they are all invicible and can do what they want. Oh well like stated he will end up a smear on the road or a cross on that tree on Mission road if we are lucky.

I don't mind the cycles, it's the RIDERS I worry about. Most have common sense, others - clueless... I've gotta TON of buds that ride, harleys AND sports - It's good times, but there are some out there that just don't DESERVE to be out there.
I'm always mindful of riders, even when they aren't mindful of me - if they're supposed to become a road pizza, it aint gunna be w/ me involved.
ROCK ON THE BUSA!! :)

It is motorcycle time again. We've already got a pool going at work to see who will be the first to chase a bike, catch a bike, or make a bike wreck during a chase. :D
Many of them will get away but most of the ones who try and fail pay heavily.

yeah, Striker... I know. But if a sport bike punk nudges my rear tire in a tight turn, nothing bad happens to me.
However when I do it to him, he goes down faster than a drunk liberal girl in Bill Clinton's office.
Not that I would ever hit one on purpose, mind you. That would be wrong. But these things just sort of happen by accident sometimes during chases. [whistle]

Why am I not suprised that you read too much into that and twist it around? Fact is, when these guys try to run from us, it's not uncommon for them to exceed their abilities and/or the ability of the bike to hold the road. These guys aren't professional riders and they will often wreck themselves just trying to evade. I can recall two of them who actually did get away from me just by taking off at light speed only to wipe out after I discontinued the chase. They do the same thing in cars because they aren't as good as they think they are.
Now do I feel bad when some knothead tries to rocket away from me and misses the first serious curve in the road, putting himself in the hospital? Nope. In fact it's fun to walk into the emergency room after the fact and serve them with the citations as the nurses are picking gravel out of their road burns or casting a broken bone.
If you're going to be dumb, you'd better be tough.

Nope, don't think I twisted anything or read your first post wrong at all.

Hey, sometimes when you play the game you lose. I'm not going to waste my pity on people who get stupid and risk their own life while putting mine and every other person on the road in danger in the process. When one of them eats it, that's karma.
And they don't learn. We had one last year that ran from us three different times in one night before finally wrecking on the third chase. He was having a ball up until then, daring us to try to catch him. He showed up in court with mom and dad and a really expensive lawyer, and came away with a really sweet plea deal because he had a stack of character letters and plans to attend college in the fall. So the judge gave him probation and a suspended jail term and he walked out promising the judge that they'd never meet in that courtroom again.
One of our guys got that kid FOUR DAYS later for riding stupid on his bike in heavy traffic, splitting the lane and riding between moving cars right down the center line. He nearly killed himself again when he saw the police car and tried to get away by crossing the median and entering opposite-direction traffic. But he dumped it and got caught again.
And since he didn't learn on his own, the judge gave him sixty days in jail and ordered him to sell his bike and not own or ride another one as a condition of probation.

See? THOSE are the idiots that DESERVE the road rash... I'd LAFF at them while handing them the ticket, and say "Better luck next time, a$$hole..." LOLOLOLOLOL
There's a way to ride, and way to be an 1D10T. Tthe idiots are the ones that give the rest of the RESPONSIBLE riders a bad name. Goes for drivers too.
I find that the ones that are idiots often have something else that cops find more interesting during more in-dpeth searching, if they decide to go that far.
