You would think if one where to go through the trouble to make a large sign, they might want to consult a dictionary first. By the Bye, my favorite is the women who wants to make English our OFFICAL language and does that have anything to do with poop?

You know, when I was in high school, it was written on the bathroom wall that a good friend of mine was a "which" who consorted with (and no, it was not put that politely) "Saten." So when I see a sign like that, I'm reminded that there is a reason we have age thresholds for office. It's not good to allow 16YOs to run the country. Whether that represents physical or mental age.

I find it kind of funny when someone makes it a point to criticize others use of the language and then their own post contains errors.

I find the occasional flub as funny as the next guy. But I understand English isn't everyone's first language and I understand everyone isn't as good at it as everyone else. Also I find as I get older my spell checkers seem to fail more often. Probably not because they're malfunctioning, but because I'm trying to look so smart and using bigger words. :)

Proper English would be to say either "woman who wants" or "women who want" rather than "women who wants". You've also combined a statement and a question in a single sentence.

I thought it was going to be "if one where to go."

Yes, I misspelled woman. I suppose that does make me as stupid as the Tea Baggers.

No, because you didn't spell "woman" "b a r e f o o t a n d p r e g n a n t."

Any one can make an occasional spelling mistake, whether a Tea Party member or a Jedi Knight, it's no real indication of intelligence or a lack there of.

I love those 2 guys who go around the country correcting signs and would love to join them. Don't people ever proofread their stuff? Guess I'm a spelling nerd.

Spelling mistakes aside there is a message contained in those signs, maybe that is the more important issue to consider.

"if one where to go through the trouble"

Should be "were"

Everyone's entitled to an error now and then, or maybe not??

Karma's a bit*h
