we have this older video camera that was way high tech abt 6 years ago :0...it took videos on these very small cassettes, and then you could put them in a bigger cassette, and play them...of course this is now a dinasour...is there a way to have them placed on DVDs ? thanks

Sounds like VHS-C. That's an analog format -- one thing would be just to hook up the output of a VCR to the input of a DVD recorder.

We use YesVideo. (http://www.yesvideo.com/) Mail them in or drop them at CVS. Alas, I don't believe they offer HD quality transfers, but you can ask.

If you put the tape into a standard VHS, and if its still all working, they do sell VHS to DVD recoders for pretty cheap if you are looking for a way to do it your self. If you still have the camera, and the sound/video cord that goes with it, you can use that as direct input into some dvd burners as well.

Thank you so much. Yes, I have the camera....the cord...Mmmm, not so sure...where do all these cords go :)
