I like Katherine, but she is not as good as Taylor, period.
She can sing and I think she has GREAT potential. I think she could benefit from some vocal control coaches and then be HUGE!

I am thinking that Katherine was not to fond of "her" song at the end of the show. She looked like she was on the verge of tears through the whole thing. Taylor was awesome though....on his final song and the other 2 !

If I am correct.....I think this is the first year that the final 2 had different "singles". Up until this year, both final 2 contestants sang the same song....I think Katherines was just too difficult for her- she seemed to be in a lower key than normal. Taylors song suited him fine and he did it well.

I do wish that Simon would not have made the statement about Taylor "winning". He may have jinxed things!!! Not to mention, he probably made Katherine feel like an idiot!

I don't think I can sit through a 2 hour finale. I will have to flip over between comercials during Lost. (all we really need to see is the last 5 minutes anyway!!)

theres supposed to be lots of surprise guests tonight. theres even gonna be a pre-show starting at 7:30 on the red carpet. im bummmed im gonna be late getting home from dance class tonight so i wont be able to watch it till 8:30.

we voted last night. the kids each voted for katharine, it took about 1/2 to get 3 votes through. it took me almost an hour to get one vote thru for taylor. so if getting thru on the phones is any indication - taylors gonna win! id really like to see the split like they showed last week. thatd be interesting.

I don't think Katherine?s song was a very good one - For ANYONE to sing EVER! I think Taylor's song could have worked for both of them and they should have done it like Mommy said they always did...I remember it that way too...
Soul patrol may be getting annoying, but it's his "thing.? I agree though, annoying!

If Katherine wins I think my husband will commit suicide... ;)
