Yay! I need all the help I can get, I tell you what. The critters won last year, and I did all of my gardening up on my deck :P I'm having Dan drop me, so I'm glad to have a buddy coming :)

I'd like to visit too, though I'm not really into gardening. Can we do a carpool?

Jenniffer
03-16-2007, 10:39 PM
You know I'm all about the carpool as long as I don't have to drive :)

June

I'd love to go then!

Tony

Oh, I don't mind taking a turn at driving. I just hate to see a bunch of people that live next to each other go in a bunch of separate cars!

You guys be sure to contact the CRobbins ( [email protected] )email address (Carol) and let her know. I'm thinking they're nowhere near the 20 folks limit, but you never know.

I haven't heard back from her, actually. I'll ping her and see what's up.

Jenniffer

Yes, it's on Saturday 7th, 1:30 - 4:30. I told them I would possibly be bringing 2 friends and would let them know if more showed interest.

Oy. They want Dan for overtime on Saturday, so there's a chance that I might not be able to come after all. They may change their mind before Saturday, but they usually don't. I'm bummed.

Tony

I suppose it'll be canceled anyway on account of the snow.

I dunno. They were kinda "on with the show" until that last snow started getting really bad and they cancelled it pretty late. We'll see. And I'll post, of course, if they cancel.

I made an inquiry, hoping I could change your mind :)

"Jennifer,
Given the weather, we will mostly be inside and take longer for the
presentations and discussions. If it is really cold, we would not take
much time outside at all--everyone else would be cold too. Also, anyone
who wants to stay inside while we walk is welcome to, there is a nice
living room with books where folks can relax."

Moe,

I'm sure there is still space. The directions I got today are as follows:

Following Mission Road past John Brown Farm and Mount Mission Park..... Continue south past Lake Forest Estates (ho, ho, ho!!!) After a bit of very windy road, take your first left turn onto a gravel road that is still Mission Road. There are several mail boxes on the right. Continue on the gravel road for about 1 mile and take the first right, which is still Mission Road. Go about 1/4 mile and take your first left, then take your next two right turns. You will ford a shallow brook and then end up here at the cabin.

I'll see you there!
