Indictments handed down in Jefferson County

CHARLES TOWN ? Grand jurors handed down indictments this week on charges ranging in severity from possession with intent to sell controlled substances to child molestation.
A 45 year-old Harpers Ferry man was indicted on four counts of sexual abuse by a parent of his child, one count of sexual assault in the third degree and one count of incest.
The jury found that in December 2005 and again in February and March 2006, the man subjected his son to sexual contact. The son was 14- and 15-years-old at the time of the assaults. The name of the man is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
Other indictments handed down this week include the following:
?Robin Bradford, 58, of Apple Tree Garden in Ranson, was indicted on one count of delivery of a schedule II controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the state.
?Haven Ray Curry, age and address unlisted, was indicted on three counts of driving a motor vehicle while his license has been revoked for driving under the influence, one count of DUI-third offense, and two counts of possesion with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance.
?Christopher Sterling Cogle, 23, of Harpers Ferry, was indicted on one count of delivery of a schedule II controlled substance, and one count of possesion with intent to deliver a schedule II controlled substance.
?Jamar Wayne McDonald, 24, of Apple Tree Garden in Ranson, was indicted on one count of delivery of a schedule II controlled substance, and one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the state.
?A 22-year-old Harpers Ferry man was indicted on the charge of child abuse resulting in and causing a child bodily injury. His name will not be published to protect the identity of the victim.
?Charles Stephen Stottlemyer, 29, of Charles Town, was indicted on the charge of failure to provide change of information required of any person who needs to register as a sex offender.
?Shane W. Evy, 28, of Shenandoah Junction, was indicted on 10 counts of forgery of a credit card.
?Michael Craig Zombro, 32, was indicted on one count of burglary and one count of grand larceny.
?Tony Dean Chapman, of Charles Town, was indicted on a charge of shoplifting, third offense.
?Jennie Lou Tucker, age and address unlisted, was indicted on the misdemeanor charge of permitting her vehicle to be driven by a person under the influence of alcohol.
?Brandon Ray Johnson, age and address unlisted, was indicted on one count of possesion of a vehicle knowing or having reason to know the vehicle was stolen, one count of grand larceny and one count of receiving stolen goods.
?Jared Caine Mallow, age and address unlisted, was indicted on one count of fleeing from a law enforcement officer while under the influence, and one count driving under the influence.
?Sabrian R. Dehaven, 24, of Woodbury Avenue in Martinsburg, was indicted on three counts of taking the identity of another person and three counts of forgery of a credit card.
?Forrest David Shibley, 53, of Hillcrest Drive in Kearneysville, was indicted on a charge of manufacturing a schedule I controlled substance.
?Thomas Dale Sims, 53, of Evergreen Drive in Charles Town, was indicted on a charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
?Jason David Wise, 19, of Frederick, Md., was indicted on one count of breaking and entering, one count of destruction of property, one count of petit larceny and two counts of conspiracy to commit an offense against the state.
?Kyle Wayne Longerbeam Jr., 20, of Buck Fever Trail in Harpers Ferry, was indicted on a charge of malicious assault.
?Roger Dale Longerbeam Jr., 33, of Belvedere Farm Lane in Charles Town, was indicted on two counts of forgery of a credit card.
?Robert E. Rose III, 37, of Berkeley Drive in Martinsburg, was indicted on one count of grand larceny, one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the state and one count of destruction of property.
?Daryl Wayne Dodson Jr., 23, of Millville, was indicted on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol causing death and one count of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver?s license.
Indictments are merely accusations and not evidence of guilt. Each person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. (Note:Emphasis added)
