Our website needs people to submit stories of interest to our viewers. An example would have been my comment on the new Hallmark Store in the Weis Shopping Center. I left a card but can't really follow up. Wouldn't it be nice to know who operates it? How many stores they own, etc. And what about all the other businesses opening ALL over the place. Now that's just an example of "stuff" you guys could be doing to help keep others up to speed. Each one of you can be considered a "reporter" for S&B!
Use those digital cameras that seem to be ubiquitous nowadays. If you see something you think is newsworthy, take a pic or just tell the rest of us about it. It doesn't have to be here on the Mountain. A new restaurant in Fleasburg?, Maybe a pic of the razing of the old hospital in Ranson, or how about a food review of the new Ledo's' Pizza?
I'm more or less stuck here at home and I want to know what's afoot in the outside world. I'm sure a lot of you 4-5 hr commuters would like to know too. Anyway, what I'm asking is to stop and ask questions, take a photo, give out some business cards(I can provide a few to those serious about this endeavor) and post the results in the appropriate forum on the board.
We've got a pretty neat thing going here. Let's use it to its full potential.
