And to reiterate what KatherineA and Cissey have said in other threads,
picking up the litter is just the front-line activity of a trash patrol. We also acknowledge logistical support such as getting supplies to the troops, providing chow and java(the litter army travels on its stomach), directing maneuvers for safety's sake, public relations and any other activities to aid the war on litter.
