We were flying kites this afternoon and there was trash everywhere from a recent birthday party (for Nicholas! not mine!). It looked as though there was overflow from the garbage can and maybe an animal got into the overflow bags? I picked it all up, but I'm afraid it will be strewn all over again already unless someone picks up the trash there regularly. Does anyone know if/who/when the garbage is picked up there?

I don't know, but I hope the Parks and Recreation can track down the users of the pavilion grounds and make them pay for cleaning up the mess. It is really bad.

It's no wonder that we don't get any respect when we treat what little amenities the County deigns necessary to give the impression of acknowledging us over on this side of the river.

SOMEONE know who is responsible. Who attended the Birthday Party? Surely the honoree didn't use all those plates by him/herself. Perhaps the parents who sponsored the celebration could set an example and offer to clean up and safeguard to trash and garbage at their home for collection.
