Any chance of increasing the system timeout by 5-10 minutes? I'm constantly getting logged out because I read a really long page of posts, got up to go the bathroom or answer the phone, or typed up a long post.

If there is a user controlled timeout, please direct me to it. If not, has there been any talk or consideration of increasing the session timeout globally?

The current session timeout is 15 minutes. Even I don't spend quite that much time in the bathroom!

This is also the timeout that Who's Online uses, so I hesitate to lengthen it arbitrarily.

Wow, 15 minutes? Yeah, it's probably actually me. I tend to post when I'm in the middle of other things, and get distracted by kids, life, etc. Running to the loo turns into the loo, getting a kid a drink, ushering a spider out of the house, cleaning up the previously mentioned drink which has been spilled, etc.

It's not as bad as I thought, either. I just realized that if I timeout when composing a message, it will post anyways after I log back in.

I don't usually idle that much, but I tried it just now - I left the board open in a tab while I ran errands - about 3 hours idle - and I didn't have to log back in.
