Old husbands never die, they keep living so they can nag and nag you until you don't want to come home from work and you would rather stop and drink at Torlones until you get your first DUI so they can nag and nag about that because they're really upset because you forgot about their birthday because your mother (that they hate) died 3 days before that and you forgot about the birthday party because you were making funeral arrangements and putting someone in the ground that "didn't really do that much for you anyway" and when you try to suggest that their birthday be postponed to the following week they get really really angry and break that glass bowl that I got in Iowa for my first apartment while all the time complaining and btching about my ex that has been dead for 5 years, which weren't soon enough because apparantly I've been sleeping with his corpse behind his back when I was supposed to be quitting smoking and eating more healthy.
