I'm a big fan too. First exposed to the old BBC radio series, which actually came before the books if I understand it correctly. Loved the BBC TV series despite the low Dr. Who-type budget. And eventually read several of the books.

I'm anxiously awaiting a few reviews before I get too excited about the movie though. It's an awfully big story to try to cram into 2 hours.
