Anyone else taking bets on whether Musharref (sp?) will follow through with "democratic" elections now?

DINGDINGHDINGDING.... We have a winner.

Anyone else notice that President Bush didn't look overly upset or concerned during his "Those responsible must pay" press conference and actually looked as though he was hiding a smile- like the fat kid who ate the last cookie. Pakistan may have general elections someday, but that will probably happen only after we invade set up a puppet government, occupy the region for the next 3-4 decades and set up a Starbucks on every streetcorner in Islamabad.

Her death is a terrible tragedy for the world, too bad most of the U.S. of A citizens don't understand why.

Kat A- I for one understand what a tragedy this is for the world and what contributions she made not only for that region but also for the entire muslim world. It is my greatest fear that our president and military will use this as another excuse to invade Pakistan and try to control yet another border of Iran.

The reason why I like you - in spite of some of your posts. ;)

She was bumped off - no doubt about it! A Harvard grad who was recently pursuaded by Condi Rice to return to her country after years of exile.

She was a puppet (lapdog) of W and the plan was to have her win a democratic election in an Islamic country. Part of Bush's greater agenda to bring democracy throughout the world at whatever hideous deficit spending to the U.S.!

And all those BILLIONS of DOLLARS that the US gave to Pakistan to help combat global terror??? Uhmmm! And the rumor that OBL is hiding in Pakistan. I think Mushariff is playing Bush like a grand piano!

... and I did hear this morning that Lackspeed Martin has won a 500 million dollar contract to provide F-18's to Pakistan. Why???

For the same reason that we outfit Israel with our surplus weapons......

Didn't you know that Osama bin Laden was murdered?

I thought the whole world knew.
