New Granddaughter

My Granddaughter, Taylor Michele 7 lbs 14 oz was born earlier today. Mother and baby are both fine! And I got my wish -- Taylor is a red head!!

In spite of all the planning you may do as to what you should/want to be called, sometimes the kids pick one for you. I ended up being GrandmaK. However, my former inlaws ended up as Bam and Boppa as my eldest could not pronouce G's Gram became Bam and Grandpa somehow turned into Boppa.

And BTW - Congratulations!!!!

Congrats! Kids do have a way of naming you themselves. My son calls my mother "Mom-Mom," but my daughter calls her "Gran."
