Coming Home

Alec should be coming home this week! His NG tube is out, and he has been taking all his feedings by bottle for 24 hours now. So, all he has to do is keep up the good work and he will be home with us! Will post more pics soon.

Once he gets here, if you need me to run out for anything at the store for you, don't hesitate to call me. I'm still around during the day (even around interviews) and hit town each day when I go to the gym. That way you / Troy don't have to run out, and can stay home and bond.

So how's it going?

Awesome! He is in my left arm while I hunt and peck with the right. He had his first MD appt. today, and the Dr. called him "portable man" because he is so tiny. How funny! His appetite is great, and he weighs 4# 13 oz. He is such a nice guy, rarely cries. Daddy is home with us until next Monday, woohoo! T hasn't had a week off in a loooong time, all his vacation before was used to help build our house. We are having a great time and enjoying some company when folks drop in. :)

Enjoy it. My youngest one is going to be 26 in a few weeks and I still have dreams about him when he was little and cute, and I miss that. He's still cute, but at 6 ' 3 " he doesn't fit on my lap to cuddle anymore.

It's official......... I am Alec's favorite Aunt. He told me so!! :)

He is the most perfect little boy. Everything about him is just so- perfect and so tiny. His little bum couldn't even hold the diaper on. Too.Cute. You can't help but fall in love at first sight!!

I remember when mine were first born, all I did was stare at their perfect little features, all day long. Babies can be so magical- and they don't even realize it! (I think I am having a bit of baby fever!!)

He is too perfect! I was telling Bev today how perfect his little ears are and how he doesn't even look like an alien like some newborns do! He is absolutely adorable!!! I didn't want to go home today :(.

Great news! Did the doctor tell you have him checked for developmental delays? He should be put on his stomach (while you watch him) every day so that he can practice raising his head. However, he should still sleep on his back.
