It's so rare for a woman to make it in the real world based on anything but her looks, so for this one to be cut down... Tsk!

I agree. However, I'm glad she expired sooner than later. See, she was a bad living precedent, showing women that they can do men's jobs too. Next thing you know, they'll be wanting men's pay for those jobs, and then militant feminism begins...
It is rare for one to "make it in the real world", so women should just be housewives and teachers, right?

So City, are you saying that women should all be confined to traditional "chick work" jobs? Because aside from the fact that that's not nice, I suspect that there aren't that many receptionist positions to go around. :D

You're the one who said it's rare for a woman to make it without utilizing her looks. I was just backing you up, ninja!

It's sad when any life comes to an end. For one to end at such a young age is especially tragic. Almost as tragic as Nanuks antiquated view of how the modern world works. There are butt ugly broads in high power jobs all over the world who were hired/appointed/elected based on their experience, education and overall qualifications. Case in point. His views aren't really all that antiquated, B-dub.
That's what scares me the most. Many, many people still think like that.

No, not really. You should come back and discuss this very important "international womens issue." You'd be a breath off fresh air and a perfect example of someone who is very employable based on looks AND you actually have the education and experience to back it up. Something that "Someone who shall remain nameless" must feel that pretty girls don't or can't have in professions typically dominated my men.
