Disassembling the Kodak I1220 scanner

Just some notes to myself on how to take this thing apart when the internals need cleaning.

Pic1 shows the location of the 4 screws that will remove the cover from one side. My model required two Torx sockets - a T10 and a T15 (these cannot be used interchangeably like a Philips).

Pic2 shows a couple more Torx screws that will remove the imaging module. There are two small screws on the other side too (see pic 3).

Pic3 shows the module removed. The two yellow arrows point to the location of two Philips screws that had to be removed from the inside to drop this assembly. The two blue arrows point to two Phillips screws that will open the sealed glass, allowing access to the underside.
