Looks almost like a lab mixed with a basset hound. Seems clean and well-cared... Found on SRD, small, black (with dark brown, brindle-looking places). Looks almost like a lab mixed with a basset hound. Seems clean and well-cared for, but was wandering SRD. Another couple found the dog and dropped her off at my house. However my chocolate lab isn't too keen on the idea of having a new friend sleep over, and is currently pouting in his crate. They had a large dumpster there last month and sold the pool and the house now appears empty. The sad thing is that there is a black cat on the railing of the porch nearly every time that I drive by and another black cat that appears in the yard as well. I know Jefferson County really doesn't do anything about this sort of situation, but does anyone know the status of the homeowner. It breaks my heart to see the cat on the railing as if he is waiting for his owner to come home and let him in. I hope that I am wrong. She lives on the Mannings side of the Forge Run ravine. The dog is an eleven-year-old white poodle mix named "Baby." The dog had just been clipped and shaved, so it didn't have its collar on. The owner went out on an errand, and when she returned the dog had escaped from the house. This was Saturday evening, May 11.

Unfortunately I didn't get her name/number in this quick conversation, but the owner did say that she had called Animal Control.
