This is probably the one thing that you can keep up with as far as maint goes that does not really cost anything. Sadly most don't, and that was ok with the cars of the past, you could go for 7-8k and while that would be accessive it would not be a big problem, however with the cars of today we have to be a bit more diligent with the oil changes and levels in our cars.
