Default Keys Ferry Acres Mail Theft

Mail was stolen from 16 address in Keys Ferry Acres last night. The mail was found dumped on Woodburn Lane in Blue Ridge Acres. The perp walked from Lakeview drive to Woodburn lane through the woods. The mail was dumped between 8pm and 8am Thursday, December 15th. They ripped open Christmas cards looking for money. The perp wears between a size 11-12 shoe and probably walks with a substantial limp. I have pictures of the footprints and a map of the locations. The Post Office will be contacted and the mail returned.

    Affected roads:
    Lakeview
    McArthur
    Old Chestnut
    Burkett
    Renie
    Harwood
    Jeanie G

KFA has had this kind of problem before on a semi-regular basis. Some of people living there actually talked to the post office about putting in the newer locked cluster boxes but the post office payment structure was then used as an excuse. Probably time to push a bit harder now, especially with the new 911 address structure rather than the Rural Route process.
