Stale Green Tea
This is something that most of you guys probably already know, and I just found out. Arizona Green Tea does get stale, and even goes bad. This year for Thanksgiving something new was tried in our house. A lot of people like green tea, especially the Arizona Iced Green Tea. So two big jugs of it were bought, one for home, one for my daughter (who loves it). She took hers with her. She consumed all of her jug with relish in a short period of time. The other was opened here for Thanksgiving, and after a few rounds the lid was put back on and the remains put away. What with all the other stuff, some of the tea was left over. Not to be forgotten, I thought what would go good with refreshments while watching the National Figure Skating on TV today (there is something on TV besides football, really). What else, the left over Arizona iced green tea. Thinking I'd have a little "snort" before the show I took the lid off and poored a glass. That's when I found out [u]that despite no "sell by"</u> [u]or "exiration date" anywhere on the jug,</u> Arizona green tea gets stale and even goes bad, at least after the jug or bottle is opened. How long does it take, don't know, but it's less than 8-9 weeks. Just for those who, like me, didn't know and drink the stuff. [spchls]
