My eleven year old doesn't have a cell phone, but he uses his dad's to nag me when I'm out in the evenings.
I love having text with my daughter. I think it is a great communication tool and we are in contact at all times even just for fun. And, believe it or not I think she actually likes knowing I am at the end of the line somewhere, although I don't think she cares for me reviewing her texts everytime the phone is just lying around.
