I dunno. We got some of that 3-ply ultra duty stuff on sale recently and it's great, except that it's tailor made for pipe clogs.

Nice to use, but a pain having to snake the toilet constantly.

I'm sorry but some things I'm not willing to give up even for mother earth. When it comes to the crapper I believe in freedom of choice. It's bad enough we're forced to use low flow toilets even though we have septic systems that put the water right back in the ground. This is definately a case of the green freaks sticking their noses where they don't belong.

Hippies want to take away that which I use to cleanse my backside? Really??? Well after I wipe with the suggested recycled one-ply they can spread my cheeks and kiss the chocolate starfish.... And BTW- has anyone conducted a study to see what the environmental impacts are to the local rivers and surrounding lands from reclaiming and re-using the recyclable materials? Sometimes greener products produce much more hazardous byproducts like the manufacture and corrosive waste for the batteries that are used in Hybrid vehicles.

Doesn't affect me. We've been wiping with handtowels for over a year now.

Something I noticed in an article about that was that the plush toilet paper requires > 100 yr. old trees for the texture. We use Scott, but primarily for the sake of the septic.

Hey... european toilet paper is just fine. Its just as soft and 100% recycled.
Total myth that anything would change but the process of making it.

I use the Scott recycled paper. Cripes.....it's plenty soft enough and less impact on septic and environment. Who really needs to wipe their a** with a down comforter...I mean honestly! I can understand a super soft 3-ply woven cute designed plushy tissue for your lil' kid's nose when they've got a cold....but for your nether regions?

    Scott works fine.

There's a reason the momma bear is chasing the baby bear around with a broom on those 'soft' paper commercials!

For me it depends on what I had eaten the night before. Buffalo wings definitely call for plush, a light pasta dish and I'm happy with the sandpaper we usually buy

Come on, no corncobs? No straw bundles? Where do you all think you are, some fancy hotel in New York City or Paris?

Leaves of three, let them be.

I'm rolling with Scott as well.
