They found the girl and fined her (about 7k American)
A woman down river was able to save them as well (so happy ending) but really... whats wrong with people? She should be thrown in jail or shot

The story said her grandmother told her to do it. Not sure why the girl thought it was a good idea.

Get this... In one of the articles I read, the girl said she was throwing the puppies into the river because they were diseased. You know, the river that's also a water supply to town downstream... She really puts the 'O?' in LOL...

i think the main thing here is that it was taped and posted. Other places in the world have other ways to deal with stuff and we just "ignore" it until its filmed. I'm sure this happens all the time
