My high school biology professor from Palm Beach will be playing a few songs this Saturday @ the MCC. You could, in theory, ask him what I was like in high school. He has been instructed to lie, but still, you could ask

Wow. What a nice evening at the MCC!

      Default OPEN MIC Sign Problem

A couple who moved into Shannondale a few weeks ago stopped at the MCC looking for information about the OPEN MIC. They are musicians and would like to participate. They were quite disappointed to hear the event was LAST night. They had seen the blue sign out front with the date OCTOBER 2nd. I went down to the road and sure enough the sign states OCTOBER 2.They were given the Shannondale and Beyond brochure and given information about the website. They said they would like to participate in the next event. Can someone make sure the date on the road sign is changed?
Oh what a tangled thread we weave

The sign is going to be changed to say the first Saturday of every month, and then we'll have a smaller, mobile sign that has the actual date each month. It's been difficult for our volunteer sign painter to change the big sign monthly.

The couple is very interested. If you want to contact them before the event, they accepted a Library membership so their information is on file
