I recall our Mom doing that with carrot tops- not to eat, but to show us and teach her schoolchildren about how plants develop roots and grow. I'm sure she never thought of the butt end of a celery stalk-Pretty nifty and could be done on a deck in a mud bucket.
Snazzy. I know what I'm doing this weekend!
thats way cool, thanks

I wonder if they could tolerate the acidic mountain soil without a 'mud bucket'? One way to find out I guess!![]()
