    Default Hi

Hello all, we (me and my wife) moved into the neighborhood about 6 months ago, been lurking on the forums and finally figured I'd say hello. Oh and leave you guys with a link to a panorama I made about a week ago. Its a bit large and I was having issues uploading the image to the board, but here is the link

Gorgeous shot. Perhaps you'd let me cut it down a bit and post it on the homepage of our S'dale Club Alumni site? We do have limits to the size of photos that can be attached to the forum. But if you park various sizes on another site-I use Flickr, you can post a small version in thread using the icon and link the larger size thru it, e.g.

PINK when new guys introduce themselves. Our Introduction Forum is woefully underused. Too often, someone just zooms into the fray w/o a hello Make sure you take a spin thru our entire website. Although the forum drives our traffic, the wealth of history and local info is an invaluable resource. And please don't be afraid to ask questions. We have a Help Forum for that purpose.

Great panorama, but then again I love anything with the word ORAMA in it.

Welcome to the forum, we like the picture also, did you take with a pano camera, a pano lens or photoshop (stitch) it together?
You may find that many people here are very fun to interact with, some have their unique way of expressing themselves which is most entertaining in itself. The most admirable part, is the sense of community in this forum and the physical Shannondale area. Which for us, is the main reason of being involved. Like you and your wife, we will be moving into the area in the next year or so, not necessarily Shannondale area but close, depending on this economy and those things we can't control, so be forewarned, we may have questions for you in the near future. We hope you have a moorific time in the pasture that is S&B!

Please do feel free, I've been meaning to setup a Flickr account at some point, just have been lazy about it. Just add a credit or something. Also thank you for the warm welcome

I used a Canon 60D, 5 shots, 30 second exposure each, I stitched it together using Hugin hugin.sourceforge.net and otherwise unedited.
