Default 2011 Gypsy Moth Egg Mass Survey Results

We have received the results from this year's survey and Shannondale/RVP/John Brown Farm will NOT need treatment for gypsy moth suppression in 2012. Thanks to all who contribute and support our efforts in this ongoing battle against this voracious pest. We lucked out for another year but can not let our guard down because this destructive pest will unfortunately be back!

Between the extra spraying of the AT area above us done last time around and the rather cool wet springs we have had since, the GM cycle has been really disrupted. Our luck is going to change at some point, until then, woo-hoo indeed.

Great news...our trees took enough of a beating with this small snow storm.
