We are closing on our house today yea!!! Unfortunately someone stole the a/c unit from the side yard over the weekend. What is up with that? So we have to have our heat pump rigged so we can have heat until hunting season is over, because apparently every contractor our builder has contacted is a hunter and is unavailable until after Thanksgiving. Just an FYI to everyone in the hood. Keep your eyes and ears open. The house was vacant and the neighbors heard nothing. These guys are professionals. They did a very neat job of cutting the wires and taking the unit without damage. We are on the corner of Wild Rose Lane and Red Bird Lane off of Gate 1. Very busy corner to be able to do this undetected as the side yard is wide open to Red Bird.

This would be the 2nd unit I heard about in two weeks? They get $100.00 cooper or less for a $1800 unit. What's sad is winter is here and this people are stealing others source of heat. I would like to call these people a true SCUMBAG. The reason why nobody see's or hears anything is they steal in the wee hours in the morning about 2am I suspect. I wonder what's going to happen if they get caught. I gasp if the police are called I am sure someone would have better plan of action. Just came home and found my portable generator has been stolen. It was sitting out in front of my garage, they had to take it out to the front of the yard. Gate 2 Shannondale road, BTW it was very heavy so I know two to three people had to be involved. Jeffco. on the way up to report.

Mailbox or boxes on J B Farm Road were pilfered. At least one neighbor lost a package from one of the boxes.
Hearsay. But when it was reported the post office said that there are mailboxes pilfered in other locations but would not say where.

2 wooden sheds broke into last night and sometime between 7:00 am this morning double locks on both were cut. area of both very well lighted. another shed at different house broken into and his backpack leaf blower was sitting at the bottom of the hill. Both houses on Huckleberry. Thank you to Deputy Connway and Deputy Hockman for your quick response.

Probable prowler about 5 am today. Car door opened and back motion activated light came on about 4:30 -5 am. Nothing taken that I could see so far. Near Wild dogwood. Back of Dawn lane. I believe there is access to Foothill Lsne close by. Keep an eye out in this area today.

We were hit last night...took the money out of my daughter's car - Grey Ghost Road. Sad thing is that my dog did not make a peep to let us know what was happening. I think the cat spooked them because they left the door open. Luckily for her only the money was taken.

Burglary at our Lakeside Dr and Lakeside Ct house, occurring some time between Dec 25-31- ?? Stole tv's , silverware, liquor - wine, tools, laptop. Had party in living room - opened everything-- call Cpl Steven Holz, 304-725-8494, or email at [email protected]. Sad New Years' eve for us. But hope everyone else has happy new year, crime free and healthy.

Small crappy sounding 2 door green car with black parts on the front was using our private wet roads as a place to try drifting on. Its safe to say they really suck at it and are a hazzard. Car is now driving North on Mission Rd.

Break in - John Brown Farm/Old Shenandoah Trail area - Sat. evening 3/23/13 and after dark - that is all the information I have. (not my break in).

Sunday, April 28th, 4:20 pm black Dodge extended cab full-sized pick-up truck with tinted windows ... suspiciously drove up Mountain Dew Lane turning left onto Valley. Confirmed with neighbor that this truck had been previously seen poaching wood from Valley View. I went to record license plate info and apparently driver drove on through without stopping - must saw me coming! A search of Valley View revealed six freshly cut stumps of previous live trees.

Suspicious vehicle in the area of Mountain Dew Lane. Pewter Pontiac Grand Prix, Plate was XFP 498 with VA tags. Seen first sitting at Stone Ridge and Revenour. One person in the vehicle at first, then later seen with three people in the vehicle. The vehicle was last seen in the area of Mountain Dew Lane. Possibly trying to follow my wife while she was running.
