We are recruiting spring volunteers to contribute to one of The Locavore Project's annual, well ... projects! Each spring we donate our time to a local farm to assist with whatever tasks they are trying to accomplish at that time. Many small farms cannot afford the help they truly need, so this is an excellent opportunity to get to know your farmer & their painstaking efforts to provide us with fresh, local food. I promise you will also learn a lot to take home to your own garden.

Most of the time some physical labor is involved, but the farms we've worked with in the past have been terrific at delineating tasks tailored to our talents & abilities. (Some have even chosen kid-friendly chores, too.)
