Orsini's Appliance, Sales and Service moving to Ranson Square

While traveling around town I saw a notice in the window of a storefront in Ranson Square telling of Orsini's impending move to new digs. I stopped by their present location and Carol Orsini stated the change in locations was to be in March and surely by the 1st of April. I've seen Orsini's mentioned in a favorable light several times on our forum and thought you all would like a heads-up.

They are really nice there and their prices are more than comparable to the big box stores

And they carry parts! The heating element in my stove went out (which is a major disaster in my house - LOL) and they had the part.

The Locker Room, which had been in an old house across from the Racino, has also moved into Ranson Square. The 7-11 opened there just recently. I wonder what's going on there.

Yes. Not sure when the smaller stores were added- I guess when it was remodeled from a flea market to the Dollar Store which had been where the new 7-11 has opened. There's also an optical shop there. Didn't know about the sports gear shop. I did see that things looked vacant in its old digs. That location, from Jefferson Ave to the video poker biz, is primed for a couple McFood or a McMotel franchise. The same applies with most of Washington St from the bypass back to the KFC

That's probably a good guess about the old Locker Room location and adjacent buildings. As much as folks dislike chain stores, that would be a distinct improvement over what's there right now.
