Default Any good daycare centers that are on the cheaper side???

Does anyone know of any VERY reasonably priced day care in the area? I am looking to place my 9 month old son and am having trouble finding something in my price range. I am on a very tight budger, so my range is rather low. It would be preferable that the place pro-rate for part time.

If anyone has any info, please let me know.

    Thanks.

In NY we used a friend that was more like a baby sitter service then a true daycare.

As things like insurance, licenses, and maybe even bonding can be expensive, finding someone or a smaller group of folks you trust might work as an option to look into/consider if at all possible.

    Loni,
Not sure of your commute, but on Rt 9 headed east, just before Hillsboro, the church does daycare. Very nice people, clean facilities, etc. I dont know what the pricing is for infants, my son is 10 and he only needs morning care. I love the fact that they are right on the way of the commute to work and they will bus them to Blue Ridge Elem. The number to call is 540-668-6357 Loudoun Valley Church and Christian Academy.

When we were looking at daycare options, this was one place we looked at. They told us they could do part time @ 3 days a week minimum. In the end we chose a place that was more convenient to our commute and work scheduale. Money was an issue for us too, I had to bight the bullet and start working extra hours to pay for daycare.

I actually drove past there yesterday and thought about it. Are any of the activities religious? By that, I mean do they read religious books to the kids, or do they have the kids say prayers before meals, etc.

    Thanks.

I am not sure of the reading and such, I do know that they do some crafts and such. They do not "shove" their beliefs on you though, which is really nice.
