His real name is Theodore, but we lovingly call him Chicken-cat because that was all he would eat when we adopted him 12 years ago! He survived being left on the side of the highway at 4 wks old when his mother was hit. He almost lost his front leg to a copperhead, and was stuck in a 6 inch drain pipe for 24 hours 2 winters ago. (We had to hire a Kabooda to dig him out.) I'm hoping he'll survive this, too, and learn to love living inside! Thanks for your interest!

Oops, the map tags in the advanced editor don't seem to recognize bluebird or blue bird. I'll try madhatter to get close look a block or so north for blue bird. good luck

I think BlueBird is Gate 1, but I am not positive

Yes, Bluebird is Gate 1, right on Redbird, left on Bluebird. Thanks!

Jonesy56 - Wow, what a story!! Good luck, hope you find him. You gotta keep looking for him. Sometimes they're only a few feet from you. Leave some food and water out. That may tempt him.

We're on Blue Bird, but near Wild Rose. We'll definitely keep an eye out for him. We're feeding another stray (female black and white) right now, so he might find us.

Jonesy, if you haven't already, please contact the local shelters and vets and animal control. There's a sticky at the top of Pets lost and found forum that has some numbers. We'll all keep a lookout! I haven't seen many tuxedo kitties so he should stand out.

Thanks, MoeMoe...I've been doing that! I guess the neighbors think I'm crazy, standing outside at night hollering "Chicken!"

I was thinking of putting some flyers up. Does anyone know of any rules about that?

no rules, go for it....just curious...did you just move from someplace he could be trying to get back to? I think thats what our cat had been trying to do at the time....just a thought hope you find him soon. Dont give up.

A nice rule of thumb is to keep them current or remove outdated flyers....

I have occasionally dusted a 3+ year old thread and reposted the link
    HERE
It gives some hope to those who've been missing their furry friends for a long period of time. Let's hope Chicken is found soon
