On the Mount, We Do Love Our Animals
I'm no fan of animal owners who let their charges roam. And that's particularly true of our canine friends who are governed by a Countywide leash Law. However, when owners want to scoff at the law, many other residents try to make lemonade out of lemons. That's true when it comes to Sebastian the Dog. He's become a fixture at the Gates 3&4 Mailshed. Folks have been slipping him scraps and bestowing an occasional stroke on his head for what seems like the past 10 years (has it been that long?) Today I noticed what may be a recent addition in front of the shed:

Thanks for the post Willis. Yes, a bowl for Sebastian has been out there for a couple of weeks. Personally, I like it--shows we have some humanity up on this mountain. Yeah, Sebastian has a home but as a community I'd like to think we all look out for one another in some way.
