Joe Herrmann at The Distillery

On Saturday, July 21, Joe Herrmann, will appear at the BPD for the first time. Joe is well-known in traditional music circles and is a founding member of the legendary Critton Hollow String Band. He has toured internationally and recorded eight albums. Joe plays songs and instrumentals that draw from traditional and contemporary sources. Songs that express a range of experience that can make you laugh or make you cry andoccasionally do both at the same time. Ballads that tell stories of bad men and disappointed lovers. Instrumentals that will make you want to get up and dance or sit back and listen. Joe sings, plays guitar, fiddle, banjo and mandolin.

Music begins at six both nights.

The shows, like the tastings, are free. And of course, picnics, pets and children are always welcome.
