Presentation/Demo: Historic Flower Arrangement
The Charles Town Library will host a program with Mary Koonce, who will demonstrate the art of flower arranging. The program will include a demonstration of flower arranging as well as a Power Point presentation.
Ms. Koonce will present different flower arranging styles that were popular during various historical periods.
A member of the West Virginia Garden, Inc., and past president of the Washington Daffodil society, Ms Koonce
has judged many flower shows in this country as well as abroad.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend. A $10.00 donation is requested to aid in the operation of the library.
The event will be held in the downstairs meeting of the library from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7. The library is located at 200 East Washington Street in Charles Town. If there are any questions, please call the library at 304-725-2208.
