Four arrested on drug charges in Charles Town (Millville)

CHARLES TOWN - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department arrested four local residents for felony drug charges on Thursday, according to Jefferson County Magistrate Court records.


George Samuel "Sammy" Holmes, 28, of Charles Town; Barry S. Noland, 36, of Harpers Ferry; Jessica C. Cook, 33, of Harpers Ferry; and Jessica M. Brooks, 22, of Harpers Ferry, were arraigned on one felony count each of possession with intent to deliver, records show....

It sounds like the guy has been terrorizing the neighborhood for years and getting away with it. Finally he screwed the wrong person and they ratted on him. But it sounds like a very minor amount of drugs were found so I doubt they're going to be able to hold them for long on these counts. Certainly no need to congratulate law enforcement on this one as they had it handed to them.

Well, that's how it goes. The addict gives up the “bigger fish”, most likely in return for some leniency.

The women don't look like your typical drug dealers, but Heroin is bad news all around and not a drug to be taken lightly. It takes it's toll on a persons health. Would be nice if the addicts got help. Reduced petty crime may result.
